Peanut Butter Banana Oaties

  • 2 Ripe Bananas Mashed
  • 1/3 Cup Nut Butter Any nut butter of your choice works great with these
  • 2/3 Cup Unsweetened Applesauce
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
  • Dash Ground Cloves
  • Dash Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 Cup Oats I use Bob's Red Mill gluten-free oats, but any kind you prefer will work
  • 1/4 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips I use Enjoy-Life gluten-free, dairy-free chocolate chips, but any kind you prefer will work


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. 

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. 
  3. Mix together the bananas, nut butter, applesauce, vanilla, and spices. 
  4. Add in the oats and chocolate chips and stir until well combined.
  5. Spoon a rounded 2 tbsp. of the cookie mixture onto the lined baking sheet, leaving an inch or two between each and flatten slightly. 
  6. Bake for 20-30 minutes and allow to cool slightly. {I cook mine for exactly 20 minutes because I like my cookies soft and chewy, but if you want a crispier outside, cook for 25-30 minutes}
